Omaha native, David Liu, finished 3rd in the June 18-22 Sweet 16 Boys' 12's at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City. He won the last match against Finnerty from OK, which took about 3 hours.  David was down 3 match points in the second set to force a third set tiebreaker, and won 2-6,7-5, 6-3. It was a good come-from-behind victory for David.

David also the received Sportsmanship Award for the Sweet 16!
