Justin Balfany Memorial Adult Tournament (Non-Sanctioned Event) 

Adult non-sanctioned tournament held for parents and juniors to play together, or anyone interested in playing with these fine young players.

Tournament Headquarters/Tournament Site: Harmon Park Tennis Courts located at 33rd Street and 5th Avenue. From south take Kearney exit & go north (on 2nd Av) to 33rd Street (about 1 1/2 mi) turn left (west) & go 3 blocks to 5th Avenue the courts are on your left. Players need to check in at least 15 minutes before each scheduled match.

Purpose: The Justin Balfany Memorial Tennis tournament is in honor of Justin and his truly "amazing" 15 year old talents, both on and off the court. The proceeds are used for college scholarship assistance and upgrades to the tennis facilities.

The new Shade Structure at Harmon Courts was dedicated in 2010 from his memorial fund and tournament proceeds.

"Be Amazing" Sportsmanship Awards are given to a boy and a girl who exhibit the true qualities of sportsmanship. Tournament referees and players participate in the voting.

Scoring Format All matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with a match tiebreaker played in lieu of a 3rd set.
